Information we collect

We collect the details needed to prepare, schedule, and provide cleaning service: your name, email address, phone number when you provide one, service address, appointment details, home and access notes, messages, and payment or payment-status information.

How we use information

We use your information to review estimate requests, send quotes, schedule and complete visits, communicate about service, process payments, support customer access, and improve the safety and reliability of our operations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate requested services, such as address and mapping, payment, email, text-message, and hosting providers, and only as needed for those services or when required by law.

Text-message privacy and consent

If a customer chooses text notifications, Spruce Works may send transactional messages about estimates, quotes, appointments, service updates, and reminders. If an owner or team member chooses text notifications, Spruce Works may send operational alerts about work needing review, visit changes, customer messages, payment issues, and reminders. Consent to receive customer text messages is not a condition of buying cleaning services.

Message frequency varies based on appointment, account, and business activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel text messages at any time. Reply HELP for help.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide your number to our text-message provider and mobile carriers only to deliver the messages you asked to receive.

Referral privacy

Spruce Works gives eligible customers a personal referral link. Sharing happens through the customer’s own copy, share, email, or text tools; Spruce Works does not ask the customer to upload a friend’s email address or phone number and does not send referral marketing messages on the customer’s behalf.

We record referral-link visits, estimate attribution, accepted-quote benefit activity, service category, home-size discount tier, and which share button was opened. We do not know whether a personal message was actually sent. To prevent duplicate rewards and investigate possible misuse, we may compare customer, booking, household, payment, device, or network signals. Raw network addresses are not retained in referral analytics; a shortened one-way risk value is removed after 30 days. Ambiguous matches are sent to human review rather than automatically treated as wrongdoing.

Keeping information secure

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for customer information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send highly sensitive information through ordinary email or text message.

Your choices and questions
