Service & Messaging Terms

Program description

With consent, we may send customers transactional text messages about estimate requests, quotes, appointments, service updates, and appointment reminders. We may also send opted-in owners and team members operational alerts about work needing review, visit changes, customer messages, payment issues, and visit reminders. These messages help us provide and coordinate requested cleaning service; they are not promotional marketing messages.

Consent and message frequency

Customers opt in by selecting text notifications and checking the separate, unchecked consent box in the private customer portal. Owners and team members opt in through a separate, unchecked consent box in their private notification settings. Providing a mobile number alone does not enroll anyone. Customer consent is not a condition of purchasing cleaning services.

Message frequency varies based on appointment, account, and business activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any Spruce Works text to opt out. After you opt out, we will send a confirmation and stop automated text messages unless you later opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email Contact.us@spruceworksllc.org.

Eligibility and delivery

You must provide a valid U.S. mobile number that you are authorized to use. Delivery is subject to your mobile carrier and may be delayed or unavailable. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your use of text notifications is also governed by our Privacy Policy, including the commitment not to share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Refer a friend program

When the referral program is enabled, a customer may share a personal link after completing and paying for a cleaning. A qualifying friend receives the discount for the cleaning plan selected in their reviewed quote: $50 on a one-time clean; $25 on each recurring clean for 90 days; or $45 for a small, $55 for a medium, and $65 for a large or x-large move-in/move-out clean. Recurring-plan savings apply before the referral discount.

The referring customer’s benefit activates when the friend accepts the reviewed discounted quote. A referrer with an active recurring plan at that moment receives $25 off eligible recurring cleans for 90 days; any other referrer receives one $50 noncash credit toward a future clean, valid for 90 days. The referrer keeps that earned benefit if the friend later cancels, does not pay, or receives a refund. The friend’s benefit is consumed at acceptance and is not restored after cancellation.

Referral links expire 90 days after issuance. A referrer may reserve or earn up to five referral rewards per calendar year. One one-time credit may be used per visit, and overlapping recurring rewards extend the benefit window by 90 days instead of increasing the per-visit discount. Benefits are nontransferable, have no cash value, and cannot reduce a quote below zero. Referral benefits do not combine with other discretionary promotions unless Spruce Works states otherwise.

Friends with no active estimate, quote, booking, recurring plan, or unresolved balance may qualify, including inactive former customers, but each person may redeem a friend referral discount only once. The first valid referral attribution controls. Self-referrals, reciprocal referral loops, expired links, repeat redemptions, and attempts after the annual limit are not eligible.

Matching contact, household, device, payment, or network details may place a referral into human review; those signals are not treated as proof by themselves. A discounted quote cannot be sent or accepted until that review is resolved, and no benefit time is lost while review is pending. Contact Contact.us@spruceworksllc.org if you believe a referral was incorrectly held or denied. Spruce Works may prospectively change or end the program, but will honor valid benefits already issued through their disclosed expiration unless fraud or error is confirmed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the program or applicable requirements change. The effective date above shows when they were last revised.
